Why Detection Dogs?

Termites can often hide in walls, subfloors and difficult-to-access areas before visible damage appears.

Detection dogs are trained to identify the scent of live termite activity, helping locate potential problems earlier and with less invasive inspection methods.

At Ultimate Pest Solutions, we’re investing in advanced termite detection to continue improving the level of service we provide our local community.

MEET TUCKER

Tucker is a Cocker Spaniel currently training in termite scent detection.

Every morning and night he works on scent wall training, learning to locate live termite workings hidden amongst multiple scent locations.

When Tucker correctly identifies the termite scent, he gets rewarded with his favourite tennis ball.

While still currently in training, he’s already showing strong drive and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to continue developing his skills over time.

Tucker is not yet operating full-time in the field and is currently undergoing ongoing training and development.

Once fully ready, Tucker will become part of Ultimate Pest Solutions’ advanced termite inspection services.
